Saturday

The Eredivisie season is always a long-awaited highlight for Team Amstelpark, which they eagerly look forward to. Unfortunately, this year started with a challenge when they suffered a disappointing 5-1 defeat against Rapiditas. Despite some strong individual performances, they were unable to turn the match to their advantage.

Singles:

  • Annick lost her match 6-2, 6-2.She struggled to overpower her opponent.
  • Chantal lost 6-2, 6-3.Despite some strong moments, she fell just short of taking the win.
  • Stijn provided a bright spot by beating Sem Verbeek 7-5, 6-2.This was a revenge from last year and a well-deserved victory.
  • Deney played an exciting match against Igor Sijsling but eventually lost 6-4, 7-6.The second set was close to a turning point, but Deney just could not apply enough pressure to force a third set.
